Regional Agency Director
When Tom Chism joined the insurance industry in 2006, he liked the idea of having better control of his schedule and being able to build a long-term residual income. After 7 years in the industry, Tom decided to work with Symmetry Financial Group. Since doing so, his profitability has increased substantially.
What Tom enjoys most about SFG is the solid, simple, and straightforward system that can easily be followed. Tom feels that the real difference between SFG and other agencies is the leadership available. The culture at SFG is inclusive; with the ability to be profitable from the beginning.
Tom and his wife of 43 years, Pam, reside in Tulsa, Oklahoma. They have two children — a son who lives in Texas with his family and a daughter who lives in Tennessee with her family. Tom feels that his commitment to integrity and his willingness to be coachable are characteristics that allowed him to work his way up to becoming a Regional Agency Director.

A successful wife, mother and businesswoman, Sarah Pappas has a background in Non-Profits, Network Marketing, and Small Business. With no prior insurance experience, Sarah earned her insurance license in September of 2012 desiring to enter an industry where she could earn an unlimited income and have true ownership of her time.
Joining Symmetry Financial Group in December 2013, Sarah Pappas quickly earned a name for herself as a leader in the insurance world. Becoming the #1 Producer of the Month for SFG’s National Conference and one of the “Top 3 Producers” of 2014 & “Top 5 Producers” in 2015, Sarah has built a reputation for leading by example with a strong work ethic and no-excuse approach to winning in work and life.
Having a diverse background spanning several careers in leadership capacities, Mike Pappas left his vice president level position of a nationally recognized leadership and financial expert to join his wife, Sarah in growing their Agency.
Today, Mike is passionate because he gets to help others realize their best version of themselves.
Together, Mike and Sarah are on a mission to help 100 people earn $100k+ a year while taking back control of their lives and spending more time with the people who matter most!
Agency Owners
Beth Maddox is an Agency Manager known for her excuse-eliminating work ethic and focus on mentoring new agents and developing leaders.
Prior to joining SFG, Beth was a successful business owner looking for freedom from traditional retail hours. After being introduced to Mortgage Protection Insurance in 2013 by a friend, Beth Maddox started part-time and within a year had sold her retail business to build an agency with Symmetry on her terms.
Hailing from Franklin, TN, Beth is still most excited that Symmetry allows her and her team to succeed in “what matters most” for them. For Beth, this means being a wife to her husband, Mitch and mother to her two active boys!
Growing up in a small town with limited options, Trevor Gregory has the one thing in life that matters- an unwavering belief in himself and commitment to work hard.
Like many millennials, Trevor became disillusioned by traditional education and opted for the school of hard knocks. After five failed attempts at passing his Insurance exam, Trevor Gregory received his insurance license in January of 2015. Five days later he drove 18 hours to attend his first national leadership conference where he saw how Symmetry’s culture was unlike any other place he’d worked before.
Starting part-time, Trevor knew his hard work was paying off when he started earning more with Symmetry Financial Group than at his nine to five. Catching the vision of what was possible, Trevor worked hard and became a “Top 10 Rookie” of 2015. Today, still in his mid 20’s, Trevor Gregory owns his own business as an Agency Owner with Symmetry Financial Group.
Team Leaders
One job in the “Corporate World” and Heather Erickson knew she was born to be independent and work for herself. The long hours and overhead of owning a franchise led Heather to the Financial Services industry.
After getting married and moving across country, Heather found herself looking for something that would still provide her a significant income while owning her schedule.
On choosing SFG Heather says, “SFG’s System aligns perfectly with my desire to balance work with personal, yet it’s the people on mySFGteam that make the real difference– they genuinely care!”
When not helping clients or new agents, Heather and her husband Joel are known for their love of their dogs, family and living on a lake in Minnesota!
As an entrepreneur who’s owned several small businesses outside of the Insurance industry, Mary Nolte never really found the fulfillment she desired from her work.
In 2014, Mary was introduced to SFG by her neighbor and started on a part-time basis. Today, Mary is full-time and “hired” her husband, Dennis, to work alongside her while they build their dream in Trussville, AL.
